Our Purpose
Liberty Children’s Home is a sanctuary for more than forty abused, abandoned, and neglected children, some of whom also have special needs or suffer from HIV or AIDS.
Liberty offers a safe and loving environment that aims to go beyond providing food and shelter. We provide a supportive, nurturing and stable place where children feel respected and confident that they will be cared for.
We have a reputation for helping children regain their self-esteem so that they can develop trust in adults and form healthy relationships that enable them to lead fulfilling and happy lives.
While many of the residents call Liberty home, we strive to connect children with foster or adoptive families if they cannot be reunified with a family member.
